This poster was created to raise awareness of the violence in Iran during the 2022 protests. It was inspired by the powerful act of Iranian women cutting their hair in public, an emotional gesture of resistance and solidarity that became a symbol of defiance around the world. In the design, the woman with black hair represents Iran, while the woman with green hair symbolizes Mexico. The text reads: “We are all Iran. Mexican women stand with the women of Iran.” This piece received an Honorable Mention in the 2023 Graphis New Talent Awards.
